  • Oracle Database 11g: Administration Workshop I DBA Release 2 - This course is your first step towards success as an Oracle professional, designed to give you a firm foundation in basic database administration. In this class, you'll learn how to install and maintain an Oracle database. You will gain a conceptual understanding of the Oracle database architecture and how its components work and interact with one another. You will also learn how to create an operational database and properly manage the various structures in an effective and efficient manner including performance monitoring, database security, user management, and backup/recovery techniques. The lesson topics are reinforced with structured hands-on practices. This course is designed to prepare you for the corresponding Oracle Certified Associate exam.
  • Oracle Database: Introduction to SQL - Understanding the basic concepts of relational databases ensure refined code by developers. This course helps the participants to write subqueries, combine multiple queries into a single query using SET operators and report aggregated data using group functions. Controlling privileges at the object and system level are also dealt with in detail. This course covers creating indexes and constraints, and altering existing schema objects. Additionally, participants learn how to create and query external tables. In order to query and manipulate data within the database, to use the dictionary views to retrieve metadata and create reports about their schema objects, participants get to understand the advanced features of SQL. Some of the date-time functions available in the Oracle Database are also covered. This course also discusses how to use the regular expression support in SQL.
  • PeopleSoft Recruiting Solutions Rel. 9.1 - The PeopleSoft Recruiting Solutions course covers the implementation and usage of PeopleSoft Enterprise Recruiting Solutions. You will learn to set up set up recruiting tables, define processing rules, and create templates that govern various aspects of your recruiting process. You will also gain a high-level understanding of recruiting security and integration with third-party vendors. In this course, you will use PeopleSoft Enterprise Talent Acquisition Manager to manage the recruiting process. Learn to create, manage, and post job openings. Learn to enter applicant data, to screen, route, and interview applicants, to create offers, and to hire successful applicants. Learn to administer employee referral programs. Become familiar with the Candidate Gateway features, and learn to work with the text catalog to modify applicant-facing pages.
  • PeopleSoft PeopleCode Rel 8.50 - PeopleCode is integrated into every aspect of PeopleSoft applications. This five-day course gives participants the essential tools to work with object-oriented PeopleCode. Participants actively build programming skills in a PeopleSoft environment. The tools and skills learned in this course provide the participants with the structure of PeopleCode and prepare them to move on to more advanced applications.
  • UPK Developer Rel 3.1 - Students who want to attend the UPK Developer course can attend either for the Content Developer courses: UPK Developer or OnDemand Personal Navigator Content Development course (or Upgrade course). The training you will be receiving is the same (regardless if you are an Oracle or Global Knowledge Software customer). The content is exactly the same and you will be utilizing the same identical software, learning the same features and functionalities. The only difference in the courses is that we have a different "brand" name on our training documentation. The Content Development course is designed for course authors, editors, and other individuals in need of recording and editing content in the OnDemand Developer. Through hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to build an outline and prepare for and record content in the target application. Participants will use the Topic Editor to customize recorded content. Upon completion, participants will preview the topic in the available playback modes before publishing. They will also explore the various deployment options, including the options for printed documents.
  • Receivables Rel 9 - This course guides you through the major features of PeopleSoft Enterprise Receivables and provides you with a conceptual structure on which to base further learning when you return to your own business environment. You are guided through the necessary implementation procedures, and you learn how to efficiently process the transactions that affect customer account balances. Hands-on implementation activities guide you through defining receivables processing controls and entering customer information. In this course you perform standard receivables functions such as entering items and deposits, and applying payments to open items. You learn how to manage item maintenance and update customer history and aging, as well as create collection inquiries and generate statements. Activities also show you how to use the PeopleSoft Enterprise Receivables automatic processes for applying payments, automatically maintaining receivables items, and posting open items.
